Chase Geringer | Founder and Advisor
University of Miami

The original founder of Ballers 4 Ed Reform in 2021, Chase Geringer, is a sophomore at University of Miami from Scarsdale, New York. He is a huge sports fan and one of his favorite tournaments every year is March Madness. During the covid year, he created 40+ pages of analysis on each team and its different players. He also loves outreach within his Scarsdale community. Chase always feels productive during the 4 hours he is there interacting with the kids. One of his favorite activities to do with them is play basketball. He has always been an avid sports fan, but teaching a child with different abilities to shoot a basketball continues to be a rewarding experience. Chase also attended the Wharton Sports Business Academy and the University of Michigan Summer Sports Management Program. Before he handed leadership of B4ER over, Chase worked hard to ensure that Ballers4EdReform continues to be an inclusive environment for all athletes and sports fans, expanding the platform from basketball to many other sports before leaving for college. As an advisor now, Chase wants to emphasize that the importance of educational equity remains at the center fo the project.
